I have been exploring a new style of late, loosely based on abstraction, postmodernism and suprematism.
Note that in all of these, the tan/beige/off-white is wood. I am exploring how raw surface can be integrated into the final image, as opposed to just something on which to paint.
I’m considering composition here without concern of depicting reality - simply shape and form and, to some extent, color arranged to create a satisfying result.
